Today is John 3:16 day! Did you know the Bible says:
For God so loved the World (thats YOU) that He gave His one and only Son (thats Jesus), that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
You should know that long before you were born God loved you. He wants you to know Him and have a relationship with Him. He wants you to know that no matter what you have done in your past- whatever mistake or sin – it doesn’t matter. He loves you anyway and has a home in heaven prepared for you. IF you admit you’re a sinner (like me) and confess with your mouth you need a Savior, and believe in your heart you will be saved. I do that daily!
I put my faith in Him many years ago. I am not ashamed to say I am a follower of Jesus and love Him and the Word of God. To follow Him is simple – I prayed something like this:
Jesus I am a sinner. I’m so grateful you died for all my mistakes, past, present and future. Thank you for going to the Cross as payment for my sins. And thank you for forgiving me for the sins I know about, and the hidden ones I don’t even realize. Thank you for loving me and putting such a high value on me! Help me follow you, teach me your ways, use me! And by the way… I love you too.
